Dogs need love and affection just as how much as we humans do. And they also have a lot of love to give. Unfortunately for Blue, a pit bull, his family dumped him at a shelter, and they moved on with their lives without him. Blue was sad for a while until someone came to his life and gave him a new reason to be happy.
Blue tears up
Seeing a dog cry can tear at your heart. Some people say that Blue’s tears were due to allergies, but the truth is, he felt sad and devastated for being left behind. He lived with his previous family for a year in California. But one day, the brood decided to move out and leave Blue behind. His tears are proof that dogs have feelings too.
Since they couldn’t take Blue, they decided to bring him to a shelter, which happens to be a high-kill facility. Blue was not only emotional over being left behind; his life was also at risk here.
A new reason for happiness
The staff at the shelter decided to help Blue look for a potential family who could take him in. They posted his photo and story in social media until it came to the attention of Jennifer McKay.
Jennifer went to visit Blue at the shelter. It was apparent that each time people pass by his kennel, he would look up in anticipation as if expecting his previous family to return for him. Jennifer kept visiting Blue, until the third time when she was able to take him home.
Blue was so happy to be out of the kennel and into a loving new home. On his first day, Jennifer gave him a bath which the pooch enjoyed immensely. They also went out for a walk and had a lot of fun time together. He likes to sleep on the couch and ride the car with the windows down. But his favorite thing of all is admiring himself in the mirror.
Now Blue is one happy dog who’s perfectly content with his new mom and home.

ADOPTED – moved to SAFE Album 02/10This is BLUE KING. He was surrendered today and when we walked up to him we woke him and he immediately let out this painful whimper once he realized this was really happening. He looks like he's been crying with tears 🙁 The Video is not exciting, (and you might want to turn the sound down)but he is so hurt and sad and he just wants them to change their minds. This sweet, sensitive soul needs help fast. HE LOVES LITTLE KIDS< DOGS and even CATS! Anyone that will LOVE him.!! Please SHARE for his life, he needs a TEMPERAMENT TEST requested IN PERSON by an Interested Party before the Shelter will allow him to be saved. Without this Test being ordered he can be PTS at any time after his Available date. A FOSTER or Adopter would save him. Thanks!BLUE KING#A4492120 My name is BLUE KING and I'm an approximately 4 year old male Pit Bull. I am already neutered. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 1/31. I will be available on 1/31. You can visit me at my temporary home at CRECEIVING.My former family who owned me for more than a year had to give me up because they were moving. But they said that I spend most of my time outdoors, but it's not ideal. I seem to be good with small children. I am housetrained. I am learning how to walk on a leash. I seem to get along well with dogs and cats. http://www.petharbor.com/pet.asp?uaid=LACO1.A4492120Carson Shelter, Gardena, California216 Victoria Street, Gardena, California310.523.9566, M-TH 12pm – 7pm, F-SU – 10am – 5pm💚💚 INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?
