Lana is eight months old and she lives in Brazil. This dog knows that being kind to others brings a beautiful feeling. She has lived her life as a stray so she knows the lonely feeling of living alone. There was no one loving her or taking care of her.
Her luck changed when she was rescued by an animal rescue group. And she was even luckier when she didn’t have to wait long to get adopted. Suelen Schaumloeffel adopted her and took the responsibility of taking care of her and loving her.
Suelen said that Lana is a dog that she is so proud to have. She is pretty compassionate and kind, especially to other animals.
A good example would be one bitterly cold day when Suelen gave Lana a new blanket to keep herself warm. She put this on the sleeping dog. Suelen had no idea that Lana would be doing a good deed that night.
When Suelen woke up the following morning, she started to prep herself to go to work. When she went out, she noticed that the blanket that she gave Lana was outside and another dog was using it.
She didn’t feel angry or disappointed because Lana had brought the blanket outside. She felt so proud that her dog had decided to share his warm blanket with another dog that she knew didn’t have anything warm to comfort him.
Suelen tried to go near the dog using the blanket to see if it had a tag or an owner. But when she approached him, it ran so fast she wasn’t able to identify the dog. However, she was lucky enough to take a photo of the dog’s situation.
Lana is a really good role model and her good deed has inspired Suelen and many others to become a better version of themselves.
